Next Level Training Center opens in Monroe

Two former high school and college teammates join forces to ‘help athletes unleash their full potential’

MONROE— When Kieran Begley, founder of Drive Sports, and John Rahn, founder of Believe Elite Athletic Training, were playing basketball at Monroe-Woodbury High School and later for Mount Saint Mary College, they never imagined that one day they would work together.

But that’s what happened when they combined their athletic and business expertise, skills and experience to create the Next Level Training Center in Monroe.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony in March, which attracted more than 150 local athletes, parents and coaches, was the beginning of a dream that Begley and Rahn had been developing while they were operating their own businesses.

A new athletic mindsetRahn realized there was a lot more to becoming a better athlete than basic drills and practices.

“It has to do with a new mindset where the athlete embraces a much broader approach to training that brings their skills and strength to the next level,” Rahn said. “We help athletes unleash their full potential.”

Indoor training facilityIn addition to working one-on-one and in small groups on specific skill-training for area athletes, the Next Level Training Center is the perfect indoor facility for coaches and trainers to bring their teams for training.

From single or multiple batting and pitching tunnels and a full-use turf field for soccer practice to the perfect place for wrestlers and gymnasts, flexibility is making the Next Level Training Center a popular destination for athletes of all ages.

As local boys who took advantage of every athletic opportunity when they were growing up, Begley and Rahn’s vision for the Next Level Training Center extends beyond serving the needs of teams and clubs.

“We want to be known as a facility that offers programs for a broad audience,” Begley said. “We’ll be sponsoring dodge ball, corn hole, Spikeball and Kanjam tournaments and leagues.”
